AnneMarie has been studying the craft ever since she could read. Her mother humored her at the age of 12 by buying her a tarot deck, which steered her firmly in this path! For the last 15 years, she has been a Director of WicCan Fest.
Sacred Circle Dance with Francis Bone
Francis Bone co-leads a monthly sacred circle dance in Cambridge with Nouri Neumann, and has designed and led programs for groups engaged in transformative ritual. Sacred Circle Dance brings together traditional folk and contemporary dances that are meditative or metaphorical, ranging from the beautiful and simple to the excitingly complex. This activity is especially suitable for individuals who experience the world kinaesthetically, for whom the idea of dancing with the wind under a full moon is magical, or who are interested in learning a variety of dances that have inspired and defined traditional communities. No dance experience is necessary, everyone is welcome to participate.
Labyrinth/Maze work with Joann Keesey
Time is a spiral, the very essence of the mystery. At its center can be found a realm where matter and spirit seamlessly conjoin, and Time itself ceases to exist. From this pause, it gathers itself and swoops off again in a graceful curve. Curling in upon itself, Time brings echoes and reverbations when the living paths of the spiral pass close to each other. Participants will learn how to draw labyrinths, construct a variety of labyrinths in various mediums, and experience the joy of meandering. Joann Keesey has been actively pursuing the mystery of the maze since her experience with the Miz-Maze on Beltaine eve in 1989.
Maskmaking with the SEF
