April 2008
Saturday April 12, 1-3 PM:
Ground-Blessing for AzureGreen’s Beltane Hill (Ground-Blessing sounds nicer than ‘Breaking’, but we’ll still have the traditional shovels.)
Upon Bell Hill at 16-18 Bell Rd, Middlefield, MA
Neighbors, friends, well-wishers, politicos, and participants of all ages will come together for a ceremony and party to:
Mark the Beginning for Beltane Hill in 2008 with the #16-18 building's ground-breaking ceremony for
Establishing the Foundation / ground-blessing / planting first seeds and spring shoots/ and a general celebration of Spring and New Beginnings.
Diversity of Events:
Native land blessing ceremony, Acknowledgement awards, political speeches, Ceremonial shovel-fulls & photo-op,
Egyptian Establishing the Foundation Rite, planting wick wands, marking the cornerstone, and other merriment.
Important Reminders:
Remember the location is raw land, no frills or amenities, and windy! Wear warm layers and muck boots.
(In case of bad weather, Rain Date is: Sunday April 13th, 1-3pm. If in doubt, call 413-623-2167 for message.)

Beltain Celebration for all ages

Fee: Suggested Donation $10-$15

Sunday June 22, 1 PM - 3 PM: Pagan Family Connection Midsummer Celebration
At: Outdoor Location TBA
Fee: SEF Members $3/family; non-members $5/family.
Picnic, hiking, and tie-dye altar cloths!
All are welcome. Parents must stay with their children.

Sunday August 10, 1:00 - 5:00 PM: Annual Lammas Faire for All Ages!
At: Hopkinton YMCA.
Held in honor of Lugh, Master of All Skills. Flea Market, Arts & Crafts Show,
Workshops, All Skills Parade, games for all ages.
Come join the fun and test your skill - All are welcome!
Parents must stay with their kids.

Saturday October 25, Time TBA (evening): Open Samhain Circle
At: Brigham Hill Community Farm in Grafton.
Fee: Suggested donation $10 - $15.
This will be a serious transformational working for each individual attending,
and as such is not appropriate for children. All attendees are requested to
bring a fully prepared and cooked hearty main dish to be shared at the post-ritual
feast, along with any necessary serving utensils. Oven space is available to warm
up food, and we'll supply cups, plates, and eating utensils.
Doors locked, and orientation begins, at 6:30 PM
