Join the Society of Elder Faiths!
The Society of Elder Faiths (SEF) is a Pagan religious organization incorporated as a church under the laws of Massachusetts,
and also recognized as such by the U.S. government. While the Society was founded by Wiccan Elders, all people of goodwill
are welcome to join the SEF in order to support the Society's work. The SEF exists in order to provide a structure for the
growth of spiritual fellowship within the greater Pagan community. Our efforts are aimed at fostering a sense of community,
and creating a structure whereby Pagan spiritual services which are usually available to small working groups or individuals
can be provided.
Current projects include:
- Public Sabbat services;
- Group spiritual retreats;
- Sabbat Celebrations for Families;
- Religious Education (Mythology, seasonal ritual activities) for Teens & Tweens;
- Providing legally-ordained officiants for Handfastings and other rites of passage;
- Informational speakers;
- Charities, benefits, and other outreach;
- Funerary information and referrals;
- Pagan estate planning (wills, trusts, etc.);
- Our newsletter, The Messenger.
As our membership grows, and with it the Society's base of support, we hope to provide additional services to both our members and the greater Pagan community. Among future SEF goals being planned or currently under consideration are:
creating a low-impact burial ground; erecting a stone circle for use as an outdoor temple; setting up a scholarship fund; and collecting a library/archive.

Supporting Membership
Supporting members will receive our newsletter, discounts for event admission, announcements about upcoming classes and seminars,
invitations to our SEF Forum Classes, an invitation to the Society's Annual Meeting,
and other SEF events. Annual supporting membership is available for a donation of $25.00 or more.

Full Membership
The SEF offers Full membership for current Supporting members who have been in good standing for one year or more,
and who are active in one or more member-supported committees to support ongoing SEF projects. Supporting Members who are interested in Full
Membership should visit our
Membership Renewal
All memberships are renewed each year between Samhain (November1) and Imbolg (February 1),
or at our Annual Meeting near the end of February. Info on Membership Renewals can be found on the Members Page.
