invite you to an informal meeting of teens, pre-teens, and their families
Saturday May 17, 1 - 4 PM
We're planning to start an SEF teen program (11-ish and up), since the older kids seem to need something with a bit more grit and substance than the younger kids, and we would like to invite you and your teens to an informal chat.
- What would our teens actually want? Let's ask them, see what they’re enthusiastic about.
- What do the parents need? We'll have to do things in a way that doesn't unduly burden the parents, and we'll need to be a little sensitive to make sure we aren't teaching the kids things their parents don't want them learning just yet (e.g., "How to Invoke the Gods like a Sailor").
- What do other members of the community have to offer? Several of us on the Board have ideas about things we can share with teens, other possibilities might come out of this discussion.
Who: Paganish teens and near-teens, their parents, and interested elders
When: Saturday May 17, 1 PM - 4 PM
